Dear Friends,

As I enter my second legislative session, I continue to earn an excellent reputation from both sides of the aisle. Having passed one of the very few bills sponsored by a Minority Caucus member in the 2011 session, that bill, HB339, which elevates the penalties for possession of stolen credit/debit cards, resulted in my being named “2011 Legislator of the Year” by Florida Law Enforcement-PRU. I also authored the language that provides home nursing services for seniors on Medicaid and created an “Enterprise Zone” in rural Palm Beach and Martin Counties which will create new businesses and new jobs.

This session, my priorities include more job creation, working to preserve Florida’s limited water supply and making our communities safer for seniors and all citizens. Please support my re-election financially and most importantly, with your votes. No one will work harder to justify your confidence and trust than I will.
